Concentration Signified
Technique 1:
Sip Water - This is not for quenching your thirst. Even from the point of
maintaining good health , it is important to keep sipping at regular intervals, morning to
evening. For what? This is to get abundant energy and to make you feel fresh. Sipping
water very often while doing any work, more so while studying, makes you energetic!
You will be able to concentrate better. Note that you need not drink a lot of water, but
only in sips. One litre bottle of water is enough for the whole day ( 12 hours). That is a
glass of water for 2-3 hrs is quite sufficient.
Technique 2 :
Observe Breath - Breathing is vital for living. Hence, breathing is
everything. This is very easy and effective. Before studying or doing any work, just
close your eyes for 2 minutes and observe your breathing process. You will find your
concentration considerably
increased. Through proper breathing, you can get peak concentration, at studies, sound
health, instant energy, freshness throughout the day, calmness in mind, briskness at work
and lead effortless life our ancestors in India, have long ago recognised this fact and
named it as PRANAYAMA.
Technique 3 :
Clock - Normally, clock is used for knowing the time! If you find it
difficult to wake up early in the morning to study, just
manage it for 7 days by using the clock. There after, you will automatically be
comfortable due to CIRCADIAN RHYTHM in the body. As a result, a biological
clock sets in the mind which on its own wakes up daily at that particular time. Further,
activation of body and brain makes sure, you not only wake up early in the morning, but
also remain fresh throughout the day as well.
Technique 4 :
Direction of Sitting - This is one area which is ignored by all of us. Yet, it
is an important aspect should every student to take note of. It is very rare to see a student
sit in the proper posture while studying. Whenever you study, make sure, you don’t
face the South. This is because of the magnetic field influence of the earth on your brain
waves. The best direction while studying is to face the Sun. Follow the same
instruction while meditating and sleeping as well.
